Ginger-turmeric tea is a warm, soothing drink with powerful anti-inflammatory and immune-boosting properties. It’s great for digestion, reducing inflammation, and providing a natural energy boost. Here’s a simple recipe:

Ingredients:

  • 1-inch piece of fresh ginger (sliced)
  • 1-inch piece of fresh turmeric (sliced) or ½ tsp ground turmeric
  • 2 cups water
  • ½ lemon (juiced)
  • 1 tsp honey (optional)
  • A pinch of black pepper (enhances turmeric absorption)

Instructions:

  1. Bring the water to a boil in a small pot.
  2. Add the sliced ginger and turmeric (or ground turmeric).
  3. Reduce heat and let it simmer for 10 minutes.
  4. Strain the tea into a cup.
  5. Stir in the lemon juice, honey, and a pinch of black pepper.
  6. Enjoy warm!
